Ayunda Risu's 'S.O.Re : Song of Reality' Asks a Big Question and Sounds Great Doing It

Ayunda Risu has a new original song out, and it’s a big one. S.O.Re : Song of Reality arrived on October 21 with a full MV, and from the first listen it’s clear this isn’t a quick drop between streams — this is a proper artist statement from hololive Indonesia’s gen 1 squirrel, with the whole package built around her voice.

What ‘S.O.Re : Song of Reality’ Sounds Like

The track was written, composed, and arranged entirely by Harry Citradi, and that single-credit clarity shows. The song leans into a bright, driving pop arrangement that gives Risu room to move between playful and sincere without ever feeling like two different singers. The title does a lot of work here too — Song of Reality frames the whole thing as Risu singing about what’s real to her, and the performance sells that. There’s an earnestness in her delivery that cuts through the gloss, the kind you only get when a VTuber genuinely treats orisong releases as a core part of what they do.

An MV Built Around the Song

The visuals come from a three-way team: illustration by altersky and localcatto, with movie work by vide. It’s a clean division of labor, and the MV moves at the song’s pace rather than fighting it — the art and the edit serve the music instead of upstaging it, which is exactly what you want from a song-first release. Risu’s expressive character work translates well to the illustrated format, and the whole thing feels cohesive rather than assembled from separate parts.

Why This Release Matters for Ayunda Risu

Risu isn’t new to originals — her back catalogue includes Metropolis, HARAPAN PANPANPAN, ALiCE&u, 1:15 AM, Sing Out, MIR//or, and the Japanese-language Hoshi ga Furu (星が降る). That’s a serious body of work for anyone, and S.O.Re : Song of Reality slots into it comfortably while still feeling like a step forward. The multi-language subtitles Risu herself announced on X signal she’s aiming beyond the usual audience, and the song is already streaming on all major platforms via the cover.lnk.to link. Within a day it had cleared 149K views and over 11K likes — the fans are showing up.

Stream It Everywhere

If the MV hooks you, the song lives on your streaming platform of choice — Risu linked a full distribution page, so there’s no excuse. And given her track record of originals that keep earning views long after release week, S.O.Re : Song of Reality feels like one that’ll stick around on the charts. Put it on.
